Native of New Jersey, born near Bennington 10 Feb 1826.
Brought family west to Illinois (near Peoria) in 1860, then to Clinton County, Iowa in fall 1861.
Farmed in Center and Lincoln townships.
Retired to Clinton 1895.
Died July 1901.
