Born in Maryland November 16, 1762.
Came to Kentucky about 1790 as one of Simon Kenton's spies.
Married Christen Davis March 18, 1796.
Nine children (four sons, five daughters).
Served in the Indian War (1798, 4 years) and War of 1812.
Died December 8, 1845.
