Emigrated from Maryland to Ripley County, Indiana about 1859, settling on a farm near Pierce City/Stringtown.
Returned to Maryland during the Civil War, went back to Indiana in 1865, and finally returned to Maryland, dying in 1900 at age eighty (birth year approximate).
