Helped organize the private bank Stuckslager & Auracher and served as its president.
Tenth of the fourteen children (six daughters, eight sons) of Charles Stuckslager.
Went westward in 1851.
Returned to Pennsylvania in 1866, married Mary Coldren, and brought her to Linn county.
Died June 8, 1888.
