Eleven children born, eight reared to maturity, six living when written: Conrad Robert (California), Harriet (wife of John E. Harrison, Xenia, Ohio), John (killed in a hunting accident in the northwest), Elijah (farmer in Nebraska), James M., Ephraim (Preble County, Ohio), Catherine (widow of a Mr. Teaford, Hollansburg).
