Purchased a farm in York township 1834 and settled there 1835.
With brother Nathan P. macadamized the pike between Bellevue and Clyde.
Moved to Clyde 1853 and platted about fifty acres in town lots.
Five children (two sons, three daughters).
Eliza born March 1824, died 1847.
