Reared to manhood in Kentucky, married there to Phebe Rissler.
Farmed in Kentucky, then Indiana.
Came to Iowa 1852, settling in Worth township, Boone County.
Twice married: first union two daughters, second union (to Phebe Rissler) three daughters and four sons.
Resided at Boonesboro before death.
Died December 5, 1876(?) aged 85 (OCR year garbled).
