William Edwards, Sr.
Born in Tennessee, moved in early life to Kentucky where he married Marilla Elliott.
Migrated to Iowa in 1850, first year in Van Buren County then settled permanently on a farm about five miles south of Moulton, Appanoose County.
Successful farmer and livestock dealer.
Moved to town in old age.
Died 1885.
