Moved to Ontario County, N.Y. in 1788, to Hamburg, Erie Co., N.Y. in 1804 (securing Holland Company land), then to Hanover, Chautauqua Co. His eldest daughter Elizabeth was the bride in the first marriage celebrated in that county.
