History of Faulk County, South Dakota (1910). 'Uncle Tom.' Came to US at 18, lived 5 yrs in Kentucky, then Caledonia, Minnesota where he married Elizabeth McNevin.
Removed to Faulk County SD June 16, 1894.
Among first settlers of Enterprise township, drove overland from Athol in Spink county.
Died July 10, 1907, buried Hoven cemetery.
Left four sons: James at Carlyle, Thomas on his farm, John and George on the old homestead.
