Married Clementine Janes in 1828, came to Ohio in 1830, stopped a year in Cleveland then settled in Brimfield township, Portage County, farming until 1863 when he moved to Kent.
Farmer, carpenter (helped erect the American House in Cleveland), storekeeper and postmaster of Brimfield.
Whig, Episcopalian.
Died April 4, 1874 at age 76 (born ca. 1797-98).
Descended from Cornet Joseph Parsons of England (1635).
