As a child moved to Ohio, educated and married there, later moved to Huntington County, Indiana, then came to Kansas in fall 1880, settling in Blue Rapids City township.
General farming and stock raising.
Died 1907.
Married Frances Dohner.
Parents of ten children, six living: John J. (of Blue Rapids), Clayton (farmer of Blue Rapids City township), Abraham Lincoln (of Oklahoma), Mrs. Anna Koutz (of Nebraska City), Jennie L. (Mrs. Layton), and Grant C. (of Colorado).
