Married Maria Hyatt October 21, 1860.
Lived in Decatur County, Iowa 18 months, returned to Washington County, came to Shelby County in 1881.
Owns 160 acres.
Republican.
Son William F. resides in Audubon County.
Daughter Nancy E. married George Pontrous of Audubon County.
Son Louis F. did mission work in Baltimore, MD.
Daughter Rosa E. attending school in Blair, Nebraska.
