Served ~4 months (Phillippi, Carrick's Ford).
Removed to Harmony Township farm in 1884.
Member Wilson Post No. 602 G.A.R. at Vienna.
Deacon Christian Church at Plattsburg.
Republican.
Son Ralph Nicholson was secretary of the Mutual Aid Society, lived in Springfield.
Son Frank lived on home farm.
