Married May 1843 to Eliza Jane Dunn.
Mormon pioneer who left Mississippi, joined the saints at Nauvoo, crossed Iowa in the 1846 exodus.
Moved through Council Bluffs, St. Joseph MO (1848), Preparation, Belvidere Bench, and the Beaver before homesteading near Castana, Monona County, in May 1866, where he made his home.
Made yokes and bows for overland emigration to Colorado.
