Born about August 1776 in Providence, R.I.
Son of Stutely Wyatt, a near relative of Sir John Wyatt said to have come from England on the Mayflower in 1620.
In 1835 the Wyatt family emigrated west to Montgomery Township, Ashland Co., Ohio, buying 40 acres one mile north of Ashland.
Located in this township (La Fayette) Feb. 22, 1843.
Man of limited education, industrious.
Member of the Regular Baptist Church 50 years.
Served in the War of 1812.
Died June 1871.
Seven children, all reaching maturity, four living: Susan (Mrs. Richard Stevenson, Kansas).
Ann (Mrs. Robert Baubelle, Dade Co., Mo.).
Marvin B. (Clyde, Sandusky Co.).
Nicholas.
