JACOB BUSH.
Jacob Bush, the oldest child of Leonard Bush, was born in Pendleton County, Virginia, in 1804, and accompanied his father to this township from that state. He remained with him till 1828, when he married Catherine Bond, of Union Township, who died, in 1838. A little more than a year afterwards, he was again married, to Lucy Leach, of Brown County, who is still living. Bj these marriages Mr. Bush became the father of eleven children; two of which are living with their father at Jasper Mills.
Mr. Bush at one time owned an. extensive farm in Jasper Township, but a few years since he divided his property among his children; reserving only a small homestead at Jasper Mills, which he is spending his declining years in improving and beautifying.
