JOSEPH H. THOMPSON, farmer; P. O. Lebanon; was born in Bu Co., Ohio, April 26, 1824; his parents were Joseph and Mary (Casson) Thoi son, whose parents were of Scotch descent, and who emigrated to Ohio at an early day. Our subject was educated in the schools of Warren County, vjj the exception of one year spent in an academy located in Ross Co., Ohio.
