What the record says
One of General Wayne's soldiers and the reputed first settler in the township, probably the first white man to build a cabin in the county.
Came to the Twin creek bottoms southeast of West Alexandria in Lanier township before it was surveyed, as early as 1798, returned to near Middletown, then came back in 1803 and resided the rest of his life on the NE quarter of section 3.
Married Mary Loy (related by marriage to Jacob Loy).
Died 1848.
Father of Peter Parker.
