(party of 40 teams, ~100 men), mined for gold, worked Napa Valley and Trinity, Cal.
Returned via Isthmus of Panama 1863 to Linn County.
Farmer in Linn County.
Cleared timber land, added 80 acres on section 16.
First married Frances J. Burge June ~1864.
She died Aug. 8, 1878.
Second married Mrs. Margaret J. (West) Harmon April 2, 1879.
